One volume scale, three common capacities
On a U-100 syringe, multiply mL by 100. For example, 0.1 mL corresponds to 10 markings, and 0.25 mL corresponds to 25. This volume conversion is the same for 0.3 mL, 0.5 mL and 1 mL U-100 barrels.
Capacity still matters
A 0.3 mL barrel holds up to 30 marked units, a 0.5 mL barrel up to 50, and a 1 mL barrel up to 100. A mathematically valid volume can exceed the chosen barrel. The calculator keeps the result visible but removes the suggested drawable mark in that case.
Check the line spacing
The calculation can land between marks. A 2-unit division represents 0.02 mL, a 1-unit division 0.01 mL, and a half-unit division 0.005 mL on the U-100 scale. Select the divisions printed on your actual syringe. A nearby line is not permission to change the amount.
